The head is etched with ancient norse symbols: the Runes, the Hem of Awe, and Odin's face. The etching is deep and will last a lifetime and the axe will be a family heirloom passed down from generation to generation.
The ashwood handle was carefully carved with the Elder Futhark runes.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Oil the head after every use to prevent rust and corrosion.
Wipe off dirt, sap, or moisture before storing.
For the handle: apply wood oil or wax occasionally to prevent drying and cracking.
Do not leave exposed to harsh weather or store in damp areas.
Never store in a leather sheath for long periods without first applying oil to the metal surface.
