Description & SpecificationsCraftsmanship, materials & dimensions
The Tengoku 10-piece Japanese chef knife set is a complete bench of daily drivers and specialists for prep, service and everything in between. Damascus-pattern stainless blades over a premium high-carbon stainless core pair with blue resin epoxy handles for a confident grip and clean, controlled cuts – a full set that looks as good as it performs.
This 10-piece knife set covers practically every job in the kitchen. The Gyuto is your daily chef's knife for slicing, dicing, mincing and long draw cuts, while the 9" Kiritsuke adds a sword tip for precise tip work and elegant plating cuts. The 7.5" Sujihiki slicer glides through roasts, prime rib and sushi, and the 8" serrated bread knife saws through crust without crushing the crumb. The 7" Nakiri is built for straight push-cuts on vegetables, the 7" and 5" Santoku knives handle fast all-purpose chopping, the 6" boning/fillet knife traces bones and removes silver skin, and the 5" utility and 4" paring knives take care of citrus, sandwiches, peeling and detail work.
Every knife is ground to a keen double-bevel edge of roughly 12° per side (the bread knife is serrated), hardened to about 58 HRC, and built on a full-tang, stainless-bolstered construction. The thin geometry means low-effort sharpness and smooth, clean presentation, while the ergonomic, lightweight blue epoxy handles keep each knife balanced neutrally at the pinch. The stainless Damascus-pattern finish resists corrosion and cleans up fast for daily use.
If you want one Japanese kitchen knife set that handles vegetables, proteins, fish and bread without reaching for anything else, this blue handle chef knife set is built for you – ideal for keen home cooks, meal-preppers and anyone who loves to entertain.
Arriving in premium gift box packaging, the Tengoku set is a ready-made chef gift. It makes an impressive wedding gift, a generous housewarming gift for a new kitchen, or a Christmas gift for the cook in your life.
For care, hand-wash with mild soap and dry immediately – avoid the dishwasher. Use wooden or soft plastic boards rather than glass, stone or ceramic, maintain the edge at around 12° per side, and store the knives safely on a magnetic strip, in a knife block or in sheaths. Avoid prying, twisting, frozen foods and hard bones.
