This handmade forged Japanese chef knife set is a premium Japanese-inspired collection in which each knife is individually forged from high carbon steel. A distinctive hammered finish helps reduce food sticking to the blade, while the sharp edges deliver confident cutting performance for everyday food preparation.
The set brings together six specialist shapes. The Kiritsuke chef knife (8-inch blade) is the versatile lead knife for slicing and chopping; the 7-inch Santoku handles dicing and mincing; the 7-inch Nakiri vegetable knife makes quick work of greens and root vegetables; the 7-inch Bunka is a multi-purpose blade for precise everyday cuts; the 6-inch utility knife covers medium tasks; and the 5-inch Petty knife is ideal for fruit and small, detailed work.
Every blade is forged high carbon steel with an approximate hardness of 58–60 HRC, hand hammered and polished, with a double bevel edge and full tang construction. Ergonomic natural hardwood handles give excellent balance and control, so this hammered Japanese kitchen knife set feels comfortable through long prep sessions.
